چکیده
Human brain is the most complex living structure of the universe. Brain radiates a number of waves that are classified based on frequency and are named as gamma, alpha, beta, theta & delta. We spend nearly one-third of our lives asleep. Sleep is crucial for concentration, memory, coordination and even emotional health. Without enough sleep, people have trouble focusing and responding quickly. In fact, sleep lose can have a similar effect on performance as drinking alcohol. And evidences suggest that a lack of sleep increases the variety of risks including diabetes, cardiovascular disease and heart attacks, stroke, depression, high blood pressure. Scientists now recognize that sleep consists of several different stages that involve the replay of these stages in a specific pattern, a process that depends on the switching mechanisms between sleep wake states. These helps to reduce various sleep disorders.

Background: An electroencephalogram (EEG) is an accepted method in neurophysiology with a wide application. Different types of brain rhythms indicate that simultaneous activity of the brain cortex neurons depend on the person’s mental state. Method: we have focus on reviewing the existing literature pertaining to changes of the brain’s bioelectrical activity that recorded from the ...

Sleep is a basic behavior in humans. There are some research reports on the cyclical patterns of different types of sleep and their relationship to breathing, heart rate, brain waves, and other physical function. More recently, scientific research has begun to show how music therapy interacts with relaxation and sleep cycle. This research is focusing on the following hypotheses: 1. Music could ...
متن کاملMedical Applications of EEG Wave Classification
Did you know your brain continuously emits electric waves, even while you sleep? Based on a sample of wave measurements, physicians specializing in sleep medicine can use statistical tools to classify your sleep pattern as normal or problematic. Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) now being developed can classify a disabled person’s thinking based on wave measurements and automatically execute nec...
